Please remember that everyone needs to help share the responsibility
in keeping the lab clean and a pleasant place for work. Please follow
these general guidelines:

      - Clean up the microwave after your use 
      - Be sure to throw away old food from the refrigerator
      - Throw away wrappers from food/drinks
      - Clean up spilled food/drinks around your desk area. 
      - Be sure that your trash really makes it all the way into
	   the trash can. (If you miss, please clean up appropriately.)
      - Clean up the central worktable after use (e.g., eating, etc.)
      - Avoid keeping strong smelling foods in the lab.
      - Place garbage can outside lab door by 5:00 p.m. EVERYDAY

Shortly, we'll be sending out a cleanup schedule that will rotate all lab
members through 4 major tasks:

	- Thorough cleaning of microwave and worktable (1 person)
	- Thorough cleaning of refrigerator (2 people)
	- Vacuuming the lab (1 person)
	- Return of cans and bottles

Finally, please be considerate of those who are trying to work by
keeping voices down, moving extended conversations into the hall, not
the slamming doors, etc. If you are expecting phone calls, then please
make an attempt to answer the phone instead of having the students
sitting closest to the phone always answer the phone.
